With winter among us, and another weekend to spend with our loved ones. as I go through my recipes there’s one that always stands out mainly because it reminds me of my maternal grandmother, my abuelita Romelia, for whom I am almost certain I got the gene of loving to cook, every single recipe that I truly love comes mainly of memories of her and I. The following recipe is the one that reminds me of her going to the bakeries and always buying day old bread, it didn’t matter which kind and of course she would use to make one of her favorite desserts Bread pudding with Vanilla sauce with the exception that I am not sure but she might have used Bourbon but until I am certain of cooking with alcohol, I will continue to make it the way my family loves it and now sharing it so you and your loved one’s can love it as well.
