Strawberry Sauce

Maybe you all know by now that I love strawberries,  I probably know  it all started  when I was a child, my mother and grandmother would take me on road trips and for me my delight of that road trip would be a family stand in the middle of a road in the outskirts of my native land Colombia.  There was nothing more  that I loved but to have Strawberries with heavy cream and condensed milk all mixed together; to this day I am extremely content, but now that cooking is definitely my ultimate passion and for one reason or another everything that I create lately is all with strawberries. Since we are in a new Journey here at Fabby’s delights in selling all of my Jams, jellies, creams and everything  to make your experience of cooking an exceptional one, I am still sharing the recipes since unfortunately it will be difficult for us to mail it everywhere. So without further delay here is my wonderful Strawberry sauce that will pair fantastic with the gluten free Angel Food Cake  Gluten Free

and as always enjoy!!!

  • Step 2 Reduce heat and simmer 20-23 minutes or until sauce is thickened, stirring occasionally. in the last 10 minutes of slow simmer of strawberries, in a separate bowl dissolve the cornstarch with the 2 tablespoons of water, add slowly and stir immediately , to make the strawberries rich in color you can for example Watkins and Watkins natural red food coloring, I used one drop. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Keep in mind sauce will thicken up slightly as it cools and even more after refrigeration.
