Spanish Custard drink – Traditional Atole

I can recall many rainy days, or cold winter days and how comforting this delicious drink would warm up my frozen toes! This drink which is a fantastic alternative to oatmeal, cereal, or a smoothie can satisfy any person. Some Latin American countries even add an egg to make it smoother and more nutritious.   It’s easy to prepare and if you like it can be placed in dessert dishes and placed in the fridge to acquire a mold, once it has reached that point serve with fruit or any compote.
