I had this delicious recipe posted before, however it got lost in the shuffle of the recipe index, so here it is once again for you to enjoy a delicious healthy dinner idea.
Baked Sea Bream with Herbs and lemon
Ingredients
- 5 TBSP Olive Oil
- 2 Whole Sea Bream (Porgies for those who will google it)or sea Bass is also a fantastic fish to eat
- 3 Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary
- 3 Sprigs of fresh Sage
- 6 Sprigs of fresh thyme
- 6 Sprigs of fresh Parsley
- 1 clove of garlic, thinly sliced
- Kosher Salt and cracked Pepper to taste
- 1 Lemon sliced thinly in rounds
Directions
- Step 1 1 Preheat oven to 375° line baking tray with foil and brush with Olive oil
- Step 2 2. Thoroughly was fish inside and out and pat dry with paper towels. into the cavity of each fish tuck 2 or 3 lemon slices
- Step 3 3. Place a sprig of Rosemary, Sage and 2 sprigs of each the Thyme and Parsley into the cavity of each fish.
- Step 4 4. Place remaining herbs and lemon around and over the fish with more olive oil.
- Step 5 5. Take another piece of the foil paper and brush t with olive oil and place it over the fish. Seal the top and bottom foil sheets together to seal and create a parcel around the fish.
- Step 6 6. Bake for 25 minutes until fish is cooked thoroughly.
