Delicious fish Tacos

This following recipe is not only my favorite when it comes to fish Tacos  because of the flavor  but  because  it only has 185 calories per taco, so this is a guilt free, full of flavor easy taco “Tuesday” recipe and as always enjoy

 

Speedy Fish Tacos

This quick and easy recipe will satisfy every finicky eater

Ingredients
  • 1 LB Halibut fillet (but any type will work for this recipe)
  • 1 small Onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 jalapeno chile pepper, finely chopped ( wear plastic gloves when handling)
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 Tsp Pink Himalayan salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Canola Oil
  • 1 Tsp chili powder
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1 avocado sliced
Directions
  • Step 1 Combine the sliced onion, chile pepper, lime juice cilantro, and 1/4 teaspoon of the salt in a medium bowl.
  • Step 2 Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Sprinkle the fish with the chili powder and remaining 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Add to the skillet and cook until fish flakes with a fork, about 5 to 6 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
  • Step 3 Heat the tortillas on the skillet for about 1 minute per side, Fill tortillas with the fish, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. Top with the onion mixture.
